Illegal Foreclosure

Illegal foreclosure is happening everywhere in the United States. Mortgage companies are bypassing laws and procedures to foreclose on properties illegally. It doesn’t have to happen to you.

On top of that, mortgage companies are calling the mortgage holder and offering to enroll them in a loan forgiveness program, then foreclosing on the property while the person thinks that an agreement is being worked out, too late to get an attorney.

Thankfully, the District of Columbia has a strong consumer protection statute that can be used to slow the entire process down.
