Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley is proceeding with state claims for foreclosure fraud against banks, based on her lost confidence in the nation-wide foreclosure fraud settlement talks.

She is the latest in a series of state attorneys general to make the claim that the settlement deal being offered wasn’t fair and didn’t hold banks accountable for their robo-signing and document fraud.
